<b>Development of High-speed Test Facility for Pantograph/OCL Systems</b>

The Railway Technical Research Institute (RTRI) has developed a new pantograph test facility, the “High-Speed Test Facility for Pantograph/OCL Systems,” to develop pantographs high-speed trains, wear resistant contact strips, and so on. This facility mainly consists of four parts: rotational disk with attached wire which can rotate at high speed up 500 km/h, exciters reproduce lateral arrangement vertical movement overhead lines (OCL), an energizing device applies large current 1000 A, environmental control devices temperature from -20 +40°C humidity 10% 90% in chamber. paper shows function, performance, usage example this facility.
